Allison grew up in an agricultural community in California, and her dedication to agriculture has continued in Michigan. She previously led Foster Swift's Agri-Business Group and served as co-editor of the Michigan Environmental Law Journal for the State Bar of Michigan. Because of her knowledge of both environmental and agricultural law, Allison also served on the councils for the State Bar of Michigan’s Environmental Law and Agricultural Law sections.
Allison started with the firm in 2013 as a summer associate and stayed until 2021. She returned to the firm in 2025 after spending four years with the Texas Office of the Attorney General, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become Deputy Chief of the General Litigation Division. In that role, Allison oversaw 35 attorneys while also personally handling some of the most complex constitutional and employment litigation claims brought against Texas and its agencies, officials, and universities. Allison additionally managed a robust appellate docket, regularly filing briefs with the Texas Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Texas intermediate courts.
Allison received the E.W. Kitner Scholarship to attend Indiana University Maurer School of Law-Bloomington, where she obtained her J.D. and was awarded deans honors.
