Overview
Dawn Berryman joined Foster Swift in 2009 and brings more than 30 years of experience working in a private law firm. She started her career in the legal field working for a prominent Detroit attorney in 1972. In 1979, Dawn transitioned to a paralegal position in a Los Angeles law firm, returning to Detroit two years later where she worked extensively as a paralegal and investigator for plaintiffs' toxic tort work and asbestos claims for the next 25 years. Her previous positions have provided her a significant advantage in reviewing and prepping the asbestos defense cases she handles, as well as her work on automobile accident defense claims. Additionally, her investigative, organizational, writing and litigation skills are frequently requested by attorneys in other practice areas. Currently, she primarily focuses on no-fault litigation and will assist attorneys on special projects from time to time.
