LANSING, Mich. –Foster Swift bankruptcy and finance attorney, Patricia J. Scott has been selected to the “Leaders in the Law” Class of 2019 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Those selected as “Leaders in the Law” honorees are nominated among other aspects for their:
- Significant accomplishments or achievements in law practice
- Leadership in improving the justice system in Michigan
- Dedication to improving the legal community and their community at large
- Setting an example for other lawyers to follow
Patricia is the leader of the firm’s finance, real estate and bankruptcy practice group and practices in bankruptcy, collections/creditor rights, commercial litigation, receiverships and foreclosure from the firm’s Lansing office.
In addition to her legal practice, Patricia serves as vice president on the Board of Directors for the Small Talk Children’s Assessment Center, a nonprofit organization composed of dedicated officials working together to combat child abuse. She also serves on the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
This year’s nominees will be honored on April 18 at the 11th annual luncheon and awards ceremony at the Detroit Marriott in Troy, Michigan.
