LANSING, Mich. —The Foster Swift law firm officially welcomes associates Samantha L. Diamond, Lindsey M. Mead, Destiny R. Sykes and Nathan J. Wood. All four were sworn in as attorneys by Michigan Supreme Court Justice Welch at the Michigan Hall of Justice on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
All four will practice in the firm’s Lansing office. Mead, Sykes and Wood all got their start at Foster Swift by participating in the firm’s summer associate program in 2022 while finishing law school.
Diamond is a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Defense practice, focusing on representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in WC matters across Michigan. She is an alumna from Michigan State University's College of Law.
Mead is a member of the firm’s Business & Tax practice, focusing on business law, business contracts and legal matters associated with business’ use of artificial intelligence (AI). She is a graduate of Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law.
Sykes will remain with the Finance, Real Estate & Bankruptcy group, focusing on real estate litigation and bankruptcy & restructuring. Destiny received her Juris Doctor summa cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law.
Wood will continue as a member of the Trusts & Estates practice group, focusing in the areas of estate planning and trusts & estates litigation. He received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.
