Unique Equine Liability Risks Involving Minors - What They Are And How To Protect Yourself
The American Youth Horse Council (AYHC) invited Julie Fershtman to be a presenter at its 44th Annual Symposium. Her topic will be: “Unique Equine Liability Risks Involving Minors - What They Are And How To Protect Yourself.” The Symposium takes place March 4-6, 2021, virtually.
Fershtman is the author of the new book, Equine Law & Horse Sense, which was published in 2019 by the American Bar Association. The book has already received three national awards. Fershtman has been a speaker on Equine Law at conferences in 29 states. In addition to the AYHC presentation, her 2021 speaking engagements include the 35th Annual National Conference on Equine Law.
First established in the 1970s, the AYHC was founded by breed organizations and specialists to provide support to all youth and youth leaders throughout the equine industry nationally. The AYHC, a non-profit association, is leading the charge to unite kids and horses, across breeds and disciplines, through a variety of means and opportunities. Additionally, the AYHC seeks to be a representative voice that brings together all facets of the equine industry with a common goal of uniting kids and horses.
