Meeting Virtually: Amendments to the Open Meetings Act

Foster Swift municipal & public entity attorney Leslie Dickinson is presenting a free webinar on Tuesday, November 10 from 12-1 pm on recent amendments to the Open Meetings Act (OMA).

The Michigan legislature recently amended the Open Meetings Act, PA 267 of 1976, to allow meetings of a public body to be held electronically or with remote participation under certain circumstances and to provide procedures and requirements for a meeting held that way.

Leslie's presentation will discuss the ins and outs of the new amendments and how these changes will affect municipalities.
