Without an estate plan or succession plan in place, our most valuable asset, family relationships, can be disrupted in an instant.

(According to a 2022 Wills & Estate Planning Study by Caring.com, only 33% of Americans have an estate plan in place.) In Michigan, without an estate plan in place, state laws will fill the void and create a plan that will unlikely reflect your wishes, and cause greater strain among family members. Clear and detailed plans are crucial to avoid damage to family relationships, shifting the focus to continuing the legacy you have built.
