GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. —Benjamin R. Judd joins Foster Swift’s Grand Rapids office as a member of the firm’s general litigation practice group. Ben focuses his practice in the areas of divorce, collaborative divorce, pre-nuptial agreements, child custody, child support, as well as general civil litigation.
Prior to joining Foster Swift, Ben was in a Grand Rapids-based private practice where he focused on these areas as well as an on-going mediation practice focusing on domestic matters, primarily divorce. Ben has successfully tried and resolved complex divorce cases ranging from interstate custody issues, high asset cases with large businesses, as well as difficult custody matters involving physically and verbally abusive parents. Ben has also prepared stepparent adoptions, and petitions for grandparenting time.
After receiving his Bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University, Ben attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids where he received his Juris Doctorate and his Master of Laws Degree in Taxation.
