LANSING, Mich. – Foster Swift Collins & Smith attorney, Jackie A. Dupler, is a recipient of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan’s (WLAM) Regional Leadership Award.
Founded in 1919, the WLAM works to secure the rights of women in society and to advance the interests of women in the legal profession. The Regional Leadership Award recognizes and celebrates professionalism, excellence and dedication to furthering the objectives of the WLAM; outstanding leadership in advocacy for the advancement of women, judiciary role models and regional development.
This award will be presented at the WLAM 106th Annual Meeting on May 31, 2024, at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester.
Jackie is a family law attorney specializing in a wide range of matters, from pre-filing divorce through the entire process, including Friend of the Court preparation and hearings, discovery, mediation, emergency motions, negotiation, trial, and appeals.
Committed to practicing family law with compassion, Jackie advocates firmly with the best interest of every party involved—especially when children are involved. Jackie has been a presenter since 2017 for the Ingham County Friend of the Court Focus on the Children Program. This program explores some of the dynamics of divorce, separation, co-parenting, and the challenge of raising children in different households.
Outside of her legal practice, Jackie is a member of many professional and community organizations focused on improving the lives of others including being a board member and on the fundraising committee of the Mid-Michigan Treatment Court Foundation; a charitable organization that helps support local sobriety courts and their participants by helping to alleviate everyday financial obstacles that may hinder a participant’s progress towards sobriety.
