Foster Swift Elects 2016 Executive Committee

Lansing - The law firm of Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC elected its officers for the 2016 executive committee.  The officers include president Michael Sanders, vice president for Lansing James Jensen, vice president for Southeast Michigan Brian Renaud, vice president for West Michigan James Doezema, treasurer Benjamin Price, and secretary Scott Chernich.

Sanders has been re-elected as the firm's president and, as such, he will chair the Executive Committee. He devotes his law practice to the defense of employers, third party administrators, and insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters.

Doezema has been elected as the vice president for the West Michigan office. He concentrates his practice in the area of real estate development, municipal law, litigation and business entities.

Jensen has been re-elected to serve as vice president for Lansing.  He focuses his practice primarily in the areas of business entity selection, organization and planning, business succession planning, commercial litigation, corporate transactions, taxation and tax planning.

Renaud has been elected as the vice president for the Southeast Michigan office. He specializes in business, municipal and litigation.

Price has been elected as the firm's treasurer. His primary practice areas include: real estate law; real estate development; real estate litigation; foreclosure; and banking, finance and real estate.

Chernich is a shareholder in the Lansing office and focuses his practice on bankruptcy cases. He will serve as the firm's secretary.
