Margaret “Maggie” A. McCormick is an Associate in the Tallahassee office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Appellate Practice Group.
Maggie focuses her practice on appellate litigation, civil appeals and trial support in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Shutts, Maggie was a judicial law clerk for Justice Meredith L. Sasso of the Florida Supreme Court and Judge Rachel E. Nordby of the Florida First District Court of Appeal.
During law school, Maggie was selected for the White House Internship Program and served in the Office of the Vice President. Maggie was a member of Class XVI of the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Program and worked in the Florida Department of Management Services. She also participated in the Florida House of Representatives Legislative Fellows Program, serving in the Office of the Majority Leader.
