Profile
Kevin Johnson is senior counsel in the Tax Controversy & Litigation practice group, where he advises and represents taxpayers before federal, state and local taxing authorities and in all federal and state courts where tax disputes are litigated. Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in representing clients in civil audits, administrative appeals and litigation.
Johnson began his career working at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a revenue agent and with IRS appeals. Prior to joining Chamberlain Hrdlicka, Johnson was a senior trial attorney at a tax controversy and litigation boutique, where he represented clients in litigating syndicated conservation easement transactions in Tax Court. He was also a partner of the tax department separately at a large national law firm and another large regional law firm based out of Philadelphia.
