Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce the expansion of its Product Liability practice group, supported by the addition of Shareholders Brandon Cox and Bardia Sergent. Brandon and Bardia will lead the practice group as co-chairs. The expansion of the practice group and the addition of these skilled attorneys underscores the firm’s continued strategic growth.
The Product Liability team defends manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers across a wide range of industries in high-stakes litigation nationwide. The team advises and represents clients across the full range of product liability litigation, from individual personal injury claims to complex multidistrict litigation (MDL) and class actions, with a focus on protecting both financial interests and reputations while driving efficient outcomes and delivering specialized, best-in-class representation.
Brandon and Bardia bring a breadth of complex trial and litigation experience to the firm. Before joining Chamberlain Hrdlicka, both attorneys were members of Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation and Products Liability & Mass Torts practice groups, serving as national counsel for manufacturers and distributors of consumer products, as well as pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices.
“We are honored to welcome Brandon and Bardia to our Atlanta office,” said Larry Carbo, managing partner of Chamberlain Hrdlicka. “This expansion reflects our commitment to growing the firm’s capabilities and delivering exceptional client service. By deepening our bench and further strengthening our product liability and broader litigation capabilities, we are positioning the firm to better serve clients nationwide and meet growing client demand with the depth of experience they expect from our firm.”
“Being able to lead and grow Chamberlain’s product liability practice was an instant game changer and driving force behind our decision to join Chamberlain,” said Brandon. “The entrepreneurial culture of the firm complements our working style and career aspirations well. We look forward to bringing our leadership and mentoring skills to Chamberlain and are excited about the future growth and development of the product liability group.”
"Chamberlain provides the flexibility and autonomy that allow us to continue delivering excellent client service while ensuring legal spend doesn't hinder our clients' ability to create and distribute critically important products," said Bardia. "Our clients' strong support for this move reflects the trust they place in our long-standing partnership—often referring to us as the 'Killer Bs'—and in our ability to deliver efficient, results-driven representation. We're confident Chamberlain will provide the platform to build on that momentum and obtain outstanding results for our clients."
Strategic growth remains a key priority for Chamberlain Hrdlicka as the firm expands its offices and practice offerings. Late last year, the firm added Shareholder Shannan Oliver to its Litigation practice and Mark Sherrill to its Bankruptcy practice, contributing to firmwide growth.
