Law360 article about Chamberlain Hrdlicka Adding Five New Attorneys
In an article published on July 30, 2021, in Law360, Larry Campagna, Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s managing shareholder, spoke about Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s ongoing growth, including the addition of five new attorneys at the firm’s office in Houston in recent months.
"We've had a tremendous amount of demand in Houston for litigation, bankruptcy and tax issues recently, and the securities and corporate work has picked back up this year," Campagna said.
The firm has been attracting up-and-coming lawyers by offering the opportunity to grow professionally at an accelerated pace, letting them take on greater roles in bigger cases earlier than they would at larger firms.
"The type of clients we have and the type of business we do lends itself to having younger lawyers involved in smaller teams of people than at firms that work on megadeals," continued Campagna. "Young associates get more hands-on experience early."
That applies to litigation associates, too, according to Campagna. “The firm’s associates have more opportunities to appear in court and to conduct depositions, generally at earlier stages than might be true if they were working on giant disputes where they are mostly serving as legal briefing attorneys," he said.
