ACG Seventh Annual Deal of the Year Awards names six deals led by Habeeb ‘Hobbs’ Gnaim as finalists
The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) announced the finalists of the Seventh Annual ACG Deal of the Year Awards. Six transactions led by Habeeb ‘Hobbs’ Gnaim, Practice Chair of the Tax Planning & Business Transactions Group, received seven nominations. Recognized deals include:
- Houston-Based Private Equity Deal of the Year & Manufacturing Deal of the Year - The Acquisition of Pinnacle Plastics, LLC and Integrity Plastics LLC by Pinnacle AcquireCo, LLC, a portfolio company of Main Street Capital.
- Manufacturing Deal of the Year - The Acquisition of The Tarp Depot, Inc. by Impact Environmental Group, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital.
- Business Services Deal of the Year - The Acquisition of Davis Brody Bond LLP by Page Southerland Page, Inc.
- Products & Services Deal of the Year – The Acquisition of Landmark Industries, LLC’s 64 fuel and convenience retail sites (operating as Timewise) by Spring Partners Retail LLC, a joint venture between ExxonMobil Corp. and Global Partners LP.
- Products & Services Deal of the Year – The Acquisition of Exceptional Emergency Centers by Altus Community Healthcare, a portfolio company of ZT Corporate.
- Products & Services Deal of the Year – The Acquisition of DermaTouch RN-SA, LLC and Carma, LLC by Empower Anesthetics, a portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners.
David Pierson, Jack Najarian, Matt Stirneman, Joshua Sutin, Aly Dossa, Timothy Dean, Umair Karowadia, Marianne Standley, Jeffrey Della Rocco and Greg Henson, assisted with these transactions.
Gnaim, shareholder at Chamberlain Hrdlicka, serves as the head of the Tax Planning & Business Transactions group.
