R. Thomas Fuhrman is an Associate in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Construction Litigation Practice Group.
Thomas focuses his practice on complex commercial and construction litigation in both state and federal courts. He assists owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in matters involving professional malpractice, design errors and disruption claims, defect cases, and delay claims, among other matters.
While in law school, Thomas was the Notes Editor for the Stetson Law Review and was on Stetson’s Moot Court Board. Thomas also served as an intern for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, working with District Judges Charlene Honeywell and Thomas P. Barber, Magistrate Judge Julie Sneed, and Bankruptcy Judge Caryl Delano.
