Shutts & Bowen LLP Miami partners Victoria Méndez and Alexander Tachmes along with Fort Lauderdale Office Managing Partner Sidney Calloway, will speak at The Florida Bar City, County and Local Government (CCLGL) Law Section’s 48th Annual Conference, which will be held April 24-26, 2025, at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.
During the conference, Victoria, who serves as the Program Chair and the City, County, and Local Government Chair-Elect, will make the opening remarks and introduce the conference. Alexander will present on Public-Private Partnerships on Friday, April 25, from 9:35 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. Sidney will participate as a panelist in the “Hot Topics in Local Government Law” panel on Saturday, April 26, from 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The three-day CLE Conference will bring together legal professionals, scholars, and government leaders to discuss current challenges and innovations in local government law. The event will feature expert panels, networking opportunities, and in-depth sessions focused on policy, governance, and legal frameworks impacting municipalities.
