Janeil Morgan, an associate in the firm’s Government Law Practice Group in the Fort Lauderdale office, planned and organized a panel discussion for pre-law students at Fort Lauderdale High School on January 16, 2026. The event was hosted in her role as Corresponding Secretary of the T.J. Reddick Bar Association and was designed to expose students to the realities of legal careers and the many paths that can lead to success in the profession.

The panel featured a diverse group of legal practitioners who shared candid insights into their professional experiences, including navigating career aspirations, overcoming unexpected challenges, and adapting to the inevitable curves along the way. Panelists emphasized that career paths in law are rarely linear and encouraged students to remain resilient, open-minded, and committed to their goals. The event provided students with meaningful guidance, inspiration, and a clearer understanding of the many opportunities available within the legal profession.

Fort Lauderdale High School holds special significance for the associate, as it is her alma mater and where she first developed her interest in the law as a participant in the school’s pre-law program. Returning to campus in a professional capacity allowed her to come full circle and give back to a program that helped shape her own academic and career journey.
