Greta E. M. Trotman, a Financial Services partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, was honored during Barry University’s 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony.
Since 2007, this event has honored a select group of dedicated and inspiring Barry alumni for their professional achievements, contributions to society, and support of the University. The Distinguished Alumni Awards is the highest honor bestowed upon a graduate by Barry University. Alumni leaders and changemakers selected for the award have made meaningful contributions to their professions and communities and are recognized for their leadership, service and excellence.
Greta, who graduated from Barry in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts (double-major in History and English), was one of four alumni honored at the awards dinner on November 23, 2025. Nominees are selected by the Barry University Advancement Team and the Alumni Board of Trustees. Mike Allen, President of Barry University, presented Greta with the award.
