Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that Glenn M. Cooper has joined the firm as a Partner in its Tax & International Law Practice Group, based in the firm’s Miami office.
Cooper brings more than 25 years of experience advising international companies, investors and entrepreneurs on cross-border business transactions, corporate law and U.S. immigration matters. His practice focuses on helping foreign companies establish and grow their U.S. operations, obtain business and investor visas and navigate complex corporate and regulatory requirements.

Fluent in French and proficient in Spanish, Cooper has been a frequent speaker on international business and immigration issues in Europe and North America, addressing organizations such as the French-American Chamber of Commerce, the Canada Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s South Florida District Export Council and has held leadership positions with multiple business development organizations throughout Florida.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where he served as president of the International Law Students Association, and his undergraduate degree in International Business from the University of Florida.
