Profile
Hunter Shelman is a Senior Associate in Chamberlain Hrdlicka's Atlanta office. Hunter represents taxpayers in disputes with the IRS with a special focus on cross-border transactions, multinational corporations, and international tax issues. He also advises taxpayers on U.S. inbound and outbound international tax related issues, including U.S. withholding tax, tax reform planning, international tax compliance and reporting, and voluntary disclosure.
Hunter most recently served as the International Specialty Tax Services Senior Associate for BDO USA with Voluntary Disclosure packets, larger multinational corporations, private equity funds, annual partnership compliance requirements and more. Hunter has also worked for Crowe LLP, a public accounting, consulting, and technology firm with offices around the world.
Hunter earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in accounting and his law degree from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law.
