Profile

Andrew Mullendore is a member of both the Tax Controversy & Litigation Group and the Tax Group, based in the Atlanta office. Licensed as a CPA, he practices as a tax attorney specializing in all forms of tax, federal and state tax controversies and investigations, including sensitive issue examinations, administrative appeals, and civil tax litigation. His clients often include high net worth individuals and their closely held entities, business enterprises, partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, and others. Andrew applies his skills as both a practicing tax attorney and CPA to achieve successful results for clients throughout all stages of the tax controversy process. Andrew collaborates with colleagues from all offices to represent clients throughout the country on a wide spectrum of substantive and procedural issues, including:

  • Federal and state tax examinations and administrative Appeals
  • Employee Retention Credits (ERCs)
  • Micro-Captive insurance arrangements;
  • Syndicated Conservation easements;

Andrew also has represented clients with issues involving various state and local tax matters, including sales and use tax, franchise and excise tax, liquor by the drink tax, trust fund taxes and other penalties, and criminal tax investigations; Georgia income tax; Alabama income tax and residency audits; Mississippi income tax; Texas sales and use tax; New York residency audits; a broad range of Tennessee tax issues; and many more. He is noted for his care and concern in achieving the best possible results for each client.
