Recently, Texas Lawyer shared the news that Houston-based Shareholder Brett Berly was honored as a finalist for the Texas Lawyer's 2025 Best Mentor Award.
In a brief Q&A posted on Texas Lawyer, Berly shared what he believes are the best qualities of a mentor. “Sincerity and understanding. Mentoring, like most other things in life, is about developing a relationship with another individual. A good mentor is one that the mentee trusts, confides in, and seeks his/her advice because the mentee knows the mentor has their best interests at heart,” Berly said.
