Shareholder Wins M&A Advisor Award
Chamberlain Hrdlicka in Houston has announced that shareholder Amy Moss was named among The M&A Advisor’s 18th annual M&A Advisor Award winners for her leadership in the acquisition of Garvin Industries Inc. by Southwire Co. The matter was selected by the publication as the M&A Deal of the Year in the $25 million to $50 million category at an awards dinner held Nov. 19 in New York City. Additionally, Moss was named as a finalist in the following categories: Industrials Deal of the Year ($10 million to $50 million); and Corporate/ Strategic Deal of the Year ($25 million to $50 million).
“Since 2002, we have been honoring the leading M&A transactions, companies and dealmakers. Chamberlain Hrdlicka was chosen from over 500 participating companies to receive the award.” said Roger Aguinaldo, founder of The M&A Advisor, in a statement. “Chamberlain Hrdlicka represents the best of the M&A industry in 2019 and earned these honors by standing out in a group of very impressive candidates.”
Moss counsels public and private companies in a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, private placements and public offerings. Her clients include venture capitalists, private equity funds, entrepreneurs, startups and emerging technology companies. She earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and her law degree from the Vanderbilt School of Law.
