Ryan Carlock joins Chamberlain Hrdlicka's Houston Office
S. Ryan Carlock recently joined Chamberlain Hrdlicka as a shareholder in the firm’s Tax Planning & Business Transactions; Estate & Income Tax Planning & Estate Administration; and Corporate, Securities & Finance practices in Houston.

Carlock will focus his practice on tax and corporate matters, including the formation and governance of business entities, corporate reorganizations and restructuring, and recapitalization of LLCs, corporations, partnerships, and professional entities. He also brings significant experience in estate and trust planning, frequently assisting family-owned and closely held businesses with their business succession plans. Prior to joining Chamberlain Hrdlicka, Carlock spent ten years with a boutique business and estate planning firm in Houston.
Carlock graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He received a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and also holds an LL.M. degree in Corporate Law and Taxation from SMU Dedman School of Law. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association - Taxation Section, and the Houston Estate & Financial Forum.
