Article in Reuters on "Chamberlain Hrdlicka grows again, nearing $100 mln milestone"
On August 6, 2021, Reuters published an article discussing Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s ongoing growth and strategic new hires. On August 4, 2021, Chamberlain Hrdlicka added Justice Eva Guzman, a former Texas Supreme Court justice, as a shareholder. Justice Guzman will focus on litigation and appellate practice and will be based in the firm’s Houston and San Antonio offices.
The firm has also been growing in Atlanta, where it named real estate chair Stephanie Friese Aron and Atlanta corporate and securities chair Scott Augustine co-managing shareholders in June. The firm has already added 12 other attorneys to its Atlanta and Houston offices since the beginning of 2021 and is continuing to grow in its Philadelphia and San Antonio offices.
“In Houston, headcount has been growing at a rate of 5% per year, and in Atlanta the rate is 10%,” said Wayne Risoli, chairman emeritus, “Chamberlain Hrdlicka also added new practice areas as it grew last year, including bankruptcy, restructuring and creditor rights; data security and privacy; technology and a Paycheck Protection Program audit and investigations practice.”
