Philadelphia-based Shareholder Jennifer Karpchuk elected to Law360 2024 Tax Authority State & Local Editorial Advisory Board
On March 20, 2024, Law360 announced its 2024 Tax Authority State & Local Editorial Advisory Board. Philadelphia-based Shareholder Jennifer Karpchuk was elected to the editorial advisory board. Karpchuk is co-chair of Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s state and local tax practice. She represents companies and individuals in all aspects of state and local tax litigation, controversy, compliance and planning. Karpchuk is a nationally sought-after speaker and writer on topics related to state and local tax. She also co-authors the Pennsylvania Tax Handbook and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Bar Association’s Property Tax Deskbook. Karpchuk serves in several leadership roles within the legal community, including as chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Tax Section, vice chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Tax Section and vice chair of the American Bar Association’s State and Local Tax Committee. Additionally, in 2021, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and the city council appointed her to the city’s 2021 Tax Reform Working Group. Karpchuk earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and her law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. She has been selected for inclusion in the “Pennsylvania Rising Star” list six times beginning in 2016.
