2022 Edition of Georgia Trend’s 2022 Legal Elite recognizes Erica Opitz
Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce that Shareholder Erica Opitz is recognized in the 2022 edition of Georgia Trend’s 2022 Legal Elite in the Corporate Law category, an honor she also received in 2019. The Legal Elite highlights the top attorneys in the state across 15 different practice areas based on peer nominations. All honorees are highlighted in the December issue of Georgia Trend magazine and on its website, available here.
Opitz works in Chamberlain’s Corporate, Securities and Finance practice, where she serves as outside general counsel to leading businesses, providing advice on corporate governance, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and privately held securities matters. She assists clients in diverse industries such as moving and storage, merchant services, certified public accounting, investment management, and manufacturing and distribution.
Opitz’s legal results are often recognized by her peers with recent accolades in Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” and Super Lawyers’ “Georgia Rising Stars.”
She earned her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and her law degree from Mercer University School of Law.
For the last 20 years, Georgia Trend’s annual listing has honored the state’s leading attorneys based on peer selections and editorial review by the magazine’s publishers to determine the final list. Georgia Trend, the magazine of Georgia business, politics and economic development since 1985, is the only statewide business publication in the market.
