“Diana Gomez not only provides skilled advocacy for her clients, she uses her time and talents to bring people together to implement real changes that positively impact the legal profession and the Houston community,” said Justice Brett Busby, Supreme Court of Texas. “Houstonians are fortunate to have her leading the Houston Bar Association this year.”
“It’s a privilege to serve as HBA president, continuing the important work started by my predecessors and implementing new initiatives,” said Gomez. “In addition to ongoing attorney engagement efforts and pipeline programs, I will focus on increasing access to justice with programs such the HBA’s inaugural multi-practice bench bar conference and the installation of L.A.W. (Legal Access Workspace) Pods to extend our law library services beyond downtown to the greater Houston community.”
