Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry announces it will host the 33rd Annual Atlanta Tax and Business Planning Seminar at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta on Thursday, November 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Chamberlain Hrdlicka shareholder David D. Aughtry will address judicial highlights during the lunch program with his presentation “To Be Forewarned Is to Be Forearmed,” highlighting strained attacks on small captives, conservation easements, penalties and procedural rules that occurred this year.

Attendees will also gain valuable knowledge from members of Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s nationally recognized tax, labor and employment, corporate, and employee benefits practices. Afternoon workshops include a choice of six trending tax and business planning topics, including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and the new regulations, sophisticated estate planning, when outside activities affect the workplace, what every family business and family office needs to know, data privacy concerns for accountants and top employee benefit issues for CPAs.
Workshops will be led by shareholders Scott Augustine, John Hackney, Peter Hall, J. Scot Kirkpatrick and Joshua Sutin, senior counsel Steven Wyatt, senior associate Erica Opitz, and associates Stephen Heymann, Joan McCallum, Patrick McCann and Christopher Steele. CLE credit has been requested for attorneys and six hours of CPE credit recommended for Georgia CPAs.
