Atlanta office expands Commercial Litigation practice with associate Carol Conroy
Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Carol A. Conroy to its Atlanta office. Conroy joins the Commercial Litigation practice, where she will represent clients in state and federal court in complex commercial litigation, including construction, fraud, financial services, non-compete and class action matters and the Construction Law practice where she will join a team of attorneys that represent a range of clients including owners, developers, construction lenders, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and sureties.
Conroy brings nearly three years of experience to the firm, having previously served as an associate at a Virginia-based law firm representing clients in workers’ compensation defense and civil litigation. While in law school, she volunteered with a social justice clinic to represent residents in Washington, D.C. facing eviction in settlement negotiations and motion hearings. Conroy also served as a staff member and articles editor for The Federal Circuit Bar Journal, the official journal of the Federal Circuit Bar Association. She worked as a law clerk with the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection.. Conroy’s experience also includes a legal internship in the Regulatory Affairs Office of the Center for Science in the Public Interest and serving as an associate for The Pew Charitable Trusts Safe Food Project.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and her law degree from The George Washington University Law School.
