State of Wayfair: State, Trade Group Officials Have A Chat

In an article published on October 4, 2018 in Bloomberg BNA, Jennifer Weidler Karpchuk discusses taxation thresholds for states in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Wayfair ruling and the issues that can arise from them. Karpchuk says, “One way to spur action is for a state to push an outrageously low threshold. I would say that Pennsylvania is outrageously low.” The article also mentioned that states that set particularly low annual sales limits could be the subject of lawsuits.
