Chamberlain Hrdlicka Ranked Among Nation’s Top Tax Law Firms by Legal 500; Attorneys Recognized with Top Honors and Recognitions

The 2025 Edition of Legal 500, a guide to preeminent law firms and lawyers, has once again ranked Chamberlain Hrdlicka among the top tier of U.S. tax law firms—a distinction the firm has earned for more than a decade. Chamberlain Hrdlicka has maintained its Tier 2 ranking in the U.S. Taxes: Contentious category, placing the firm among the top 12 tax controversy firms in the nation. In addition, three Chamberlain Hrdlicka attorneys received top individual honors in the same category.

Larry A. Campagna, managing shareholder for Chamberlain Hrdlicka, and David D. Aughtry, shareholder in the firm’s Atlanta office, have retained their positions in Legal 500’s U.S. Hall of Fame for the U.S. Taxes: Contentious category—an honor held by only 13 tax attorneys nationwide. Lawyers listed in the Hall of Fame are widely regarded by peers and clients as being at the very top of the profession and have been consistently ranked as Leading Individuals by The Legal 500 in prior years.

Jaime Vasquez, shareholder in the firm’s San Antonio office, was recognized by Legal 500 as a Leading Partner in the U.S. Taxes: Contentious category—an honor awarded to just 23 tax controversy attorneys nationwide.
