Philadelphia tax attorney Stewart M. Weintraub to chair ABA/IPT seminars
Stewart M. Weintraub, a shareholder and SALT practice chair in the Philadelphia office of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry will help lead advanced income, sales and use, and property tax seminars co-sponsored by the American Bar Association (ABA) Tax Section and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT). Weintraub is the overall chair of the ABA/IPT Advanced Tax Seminars.
Weintraub will moderate a panel entitled “Fee Simple and Leased Fee Valuations: Distinctions with Real and Subtle Differences.” He also will take part in a roundtable entitled “Perspectives on Valuation Issues” and will co-lead a seminar discussing statutes of limitation in the context of seeking a refund of state or local corporate income tax after a federal income tax audit.
Since his admission to the bar in 1971, Weintraub has focused his law practice upon state and local taxation, helping clients plan and structure transactions so that all state and local tax obligations are minimized. From audits through trials and appeals to the appellate courts, Weintraub represents clients in all aspects of state and local tax compliance and litigation.
