Christine A. Meade is the firm-wide Director of Attorney Recruiting for Shutts & Bowen LLP.
With a focus on growing the firm’s lateral attorney ranks, she oversees the recruitment, acquisition, integration, and retention of the firm’s legal talent.
Having spent 20 years working both inside international law firms and as a legal recruiter, Christine brings a comprehensive, multi-perspective approach to talent development. Prior to joining Shutts & Bowen, she oversaw law student recruitment, managed summer associate programs, led evaluation processes, and supported recruiting efforts for practice groups as a Lawyer Recruiting Administrator.
Christine develops and implements best practices and strategic initiatives for the legal recruitment department and manages the full recruiting lifecycle across all practice groups. She works closely with firm management to support the firm’s long-term growth and overall talent strategy.
In addition, Christine leads the firm’s law student recruitment efforts and manages the firm’s summer associate program. Her responsibilities include evaluating prospective candidates, coordinating recruitment activities, pairing summer associates with mentors, and creating networking-focused opportunities.
Christine earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in English Language and Literature from Fordham University.
