Shutts & Bowen LLP recently facilitated Beardmore Auto Group in the sale of its automotive dealerships to Morrie’s Automotive Group, marking a significant transaction in the Midwest auto retail market.

Beardmore Auto Group, a fourth-generation, family-owned dealership group founded in 1919, operated three franchised dealerships in Bellevue, Nebraska, including Beardmore Subaru, Beardmore Chevrolet and Beardmore Hyundai.

Morrie’s Automotive Group, a Minnesota-based dealership platform with more than 30 locations across the Midwest, acquired the dealerships as part of its continued regional expansion and entry into the Nebraska market. The deal underscores continued consolidation in the automotive retail sector, particularly among high-performing non-luxury franchises in growing regional markets, which continue to attract strong buyer interest.
