On September 16, Shutts & Bowen LLP hosted a Financial & International Business Association (FIBA) breakfast presentation at its Miami office focusing on the evolution of cryptocurrency regulation under the current administration.
Financial Services Practice Group co-chair, Peter Rahaghi, served as moderator of the presentation and helped lead a timely and thought-provoking conversation. The speakers included Paul Bances of Paxos, Diego Rosero of Gemini Exchange, and Marina Olman-Pal of Greenberg Traurig LLP. The panel discussed current legal and regulatory developments spurring innovation in the digital asset space, including the recent adoption of the GENIUS Act, which is intended to make the United States the “crypto capital of the planet”.
Built on almost 50 years of history, FIBA is a modern, non-profit trade association and a global leader in advocacy, financial education, and conferences. To learn more, click here.
