Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that Irma Qureshi has joined the firm’s West Palm Beach office as a Partner in its Real Estate Practice Group.
Irma is the firm’s third attorney hire for the West Palm Beach office in the first half of 2026 and the second partner-level addition to its Real Estate group in the past six weeks, reflecting the office’s strategic growth amid increasing demand for sophisticated legal counsel in Palm Beach County’s evolving real estate market.
“I am excited to join Shutts and its talented group of real estate attorneys,” said Irma. “The firm has an outstanding reputation in the West Palm Beach community, and I look forward to collaborating with such talented attorneys to help our clients achieve their goals.”
Irma represents developers, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants in a broad range of complex commercial real estate transactions. Her practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, financing, secured lender representation, multifamily and mixed-use development, title insurance, leasing negotiations and other transactional matters involving a variety of asset classes.
“We are thrilled to welcome Irma as we continue to expand one of West Palm Beach’s leading real estate practices,” said Matthew R. Chait, managing partner of the firm’s West Palm Beach office. “Palm Beach County is in the midst of tremendous growth and investment activity, and Irma’s experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions further strengthens our ability to serve clients involved in many of the market’s most significant and high-profile projects.”
Shutts & Bowen’s West Palm Beach real estate attorneys have played a leading role in many of the county’s most prominent commercial real estate transactions over the past year, including Class A office leasing, large-scale mixed-use developments, high-value acquisitions and record-setting financings that continue to redefine the region’s landscape.
“We continue to see extraordinary momentum in Palm Beach County as businesses, developers and investors discover the long-term opportunities South Florida offers,” said Francis E. “Frank” Rodriguez, chair of the firm’s Executive Committee. “Expanding our West Palm Beach office reflects our commitment to supporting a diverse and growing client community while deepening the expertise we provide across the state.”
Irma currently serves as a member of the Palm Beach County Property Review Committee, having been appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners in 2023. She was also selected for the Urban Land Institute’s Leadership Institute Class of 2023. She earned her LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law, her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and her undergraduate degree from Florida International University.
