Shutts & Bowen International Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group members Eduardo De La Peña Bernal and Giancarlo Cueto recently attended the AIJA 63rd International Young Lawyers Congress in Washington DC.
Eduardo De la Peña Bernal completed his term as Immediate Past President of AIJA and member of the Bureau, concluding his leadership role with the organization during which AIJA reached unprecedented levels of global growth.
Giancarlo spoke on a panel titled "Risk, Regulations, and Rollercoasters: Arbitration and International Business Law in Times of Uncertainty," addressing the best dispute resolution practices for today's uncertain and changing business environment.
Eduardo and Giancarlo also hosted, in the true AIJA spirit of collegiality, a hospitality dinner for delegates from California, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
