
Shutts & Bowen LLP recently represented Don Mealey Sport Auto Group in the successful sale of Sport Mitsubishi in Orlando, Florida, to U.S. Marine of Marine Automotive Group.
Don Mealey Sport Auto Group is a third-generation, family-owned automotive business founded in 1974 and operating multiple dealerships throughout Central Florida. The transaction supports the group’s continued focus on its core franchises in the Orlando market. On behalf of Don Mealey Sport Auto Group, the deal was led by Orlando partner J. Gregory Humphries, who facilitates large-scale dealership transactions across the country. Greg represented his client in the transaction from initial negotiations through final closing, with assistance from attorney J. Cameron Katz.
Performance Brokerage Services served as the exclusive sell-side advisors for the transaction. Sport Mitsubishi will be renamed North Orlando Mitsubishi and will continue operating at its current location.
