Philip C. Rosen, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Fort Lauderdale office, recently moderated a panel at the Commercial Observer’s South Florida Multifamily & Mixed-Use Forum on April 3, at the Wynwood Plaza in Miami.
During the panel titled “Challenges and Opportunities in Luxury Multifamily Development,” Philip and the panelists explored why, despite persistent market headwinds—ranging from rent plateaus and recessionary concerns to soaring construction and land costs—luxury development continues to stand out as one of the most compelling and resilient opportunities in South Florida’s real estate market.
The Commercial Observer’s South Florida Multifamily & Mixed-Use Forum explored the multifamily sector in South Florida and new investment opportunities and challenges it is experiencing, driven by a construction boom in Miami. During the forum, Industry leaders highlighted how sustained migration and job growth are expanding investment opportunities, with a focus on supporting market expansion.
