It is recognized for its rich history, atmospheric Mediterranean Revival architecture, and dedication to presenting independent films, classic cinema, concerts, and educational programs. As both a community treasure and a nationally acclaimed cultural venue, Tampa Theatre draws over 80,000 visitors annually and plays a key role in the economic and artistic vitality of downtown Tampa.

The Tampa Theatre Board of Directors is composed of civic and business leaders committed to preserving the Theatre’s legacy and ensuring its continued impact on the community. The Board supports the Theatre’s strategic planning, financing, and development efforts, helping it thrive as a dynamic venue for arts and education.

As a member of the Board’s Development Committee, Michael will collaborate with fellow directors to advance the Theatre’s mission and support initiatives that promote its long-term sustainability. He will contribute his time, insight, and resources to help guide efforts that preserve the magic of Tampa Theatre for future generations, and help foster the Theatre’s role as a vibrant gathering place for film, music, and cultural exploration in Tampa Bay.
