Melodie Khosrovani Graduates from Tampa Connection Class of 2025

Tampa attorney Melodie Khosrovani recently graduated from Tampa Connection, joining her fellow graduates as part of the Class of 2025.

Tampa Connection is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide local business professionals with the necessary tools to become active leaders and volunteers in the Tampa Bay Community. Each year, a select group of applicants are chosen to participate in the Tampa Connection “class.” The year-long program exposes class members to leadership development, social, and community service opportunities while immersing them in the local community.  Each year, local nonprofits submit project proposals to the Tampa Connection Board of Directors, with the selected projects to be carried out by the Tampa Connection class during their program year.

Melodie’s team worked with Workforce Development Partners, a local non-profit dedicated to providing life-changing opportunities for youth and adults, fostering company growth, and serving as an economic catalyst for communities. Over the course of her program, Melodie’s team refined the processes of Workforce Development Partners and equipped them with skills and resources for a more efficient, scalable operation. Ultimately, Melodie’s team delivered targeted solutions to Workforce Development Partners, laying the groundwork for sustainable growth and greater operational capacity.

Over the course of the program, Melodie also volunteered with Workforce Development Partners at their Business Tour and Future Fair Hiring Event. During the Business Tour, Melodie accompanied high school seniors to three different business visits from diverse industries, including a lunch program with government and training partners. Students met business leaders and current employees, asked them questions, and opened their minds to what is in their community.

At the Future Fair Hiring Event, there were 50+ employers, training, and community partners with comprehensive and diverse jobs and resources. Among other things, Melodie chaperoned breakout sessions where students learned from local community and business leaders.
