
Shutts & Bowen LLP Orlando partner Brett Renton recently spoke at the Florida Airports Council Education and Training Summit on April 28, 2026, in St. Augustine, Florida.
During the per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) panel, Brett and his co-panelists addressed the multi-district litigation involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), as well as the transition from PFAS to fluorine free foam (FFF) at airports and the lessons learned. They also discussed PFAS management approaches, the latest from the FDEP, addressing legacy environmental impacts and regulatory framework moving forward.
