Overview
Michelle is an associate in the Public Law Department at Richards, Watson & Gershon. Michelle advises local governments and other public agencies on a variety of municipal law issues.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Richards, Watson & Gershon, Michelle served as a Legal Fellow at the Niskanen Center, where she conducted legal research on environmental, administrative, and constitutional law issues, supported litigation matters, and prepared public records requests and administrative appeals. She also analyzed First Amendment issues related to municipal sign regulations as a Public Law Fellow at Renne Public Law Group.
During law school, Michelle externed for the Massachusetts Land Court and interned at the Department of the Interior's Office of the Northeastern Regional Solicitor. She also participated in Boston University's Environmental Law Practicum, where she worked on urban planning and transportation justice issues with local nonprofit organizations. As a law student, she served as a Second-Year Editor for the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal.
