Hank Gutman Recognized with TCPI Pillar of Excellence Award

Ivins, Phillips & Barker is pleased to share that Hank Gutman has been recognized, for the second time, by the Tax Council Policy Institute (TCPI) with its Pillar of Excellence Award.

Hank is being honored in connection with his service as Chief of Staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation and will be recognized alongside other current and former JCT staff members at TCPI’s annual conference next month. As part of the program, he will also participate in a roundtable discussion with current and former JCT Chiefs of Staff.

Hank was previously recognized as a standalone Pillar of Excellence Award recipient in 2024. The award was first presented in 2009, with Eric Solomon among its inaugural honorees.

We congratulate Hank on this well-deserved recognition and thank him for his continued contributions to U.S. tax policy and administration.
