Matthew J. Pawlowski
Overview
Matt Pawlowski focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, serving a broad range of clients across industries.
During law school, Matt interned with the Honorable James E. Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section, where he worked on matters related to asset forfeiture and cultural property restitution. He also volunteered with the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, preparing legal research and analysis for submission to the Department of Labor.
Before law school, Matt worked as a paralegal at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, where he supported teams in high-stakes litigation. His experience included managing trial logistics and evidence in a major antitrust jury trial, coordinating a multi-organization paralegal team in a voting rights case, and assisting in arbitration and trial preparation for complex commercial disputes.
