Joshua G. Silver
Overview
Joshua Silver has significant experience representing clients in class action, bankruptcy, and complex commercial litigation, as well as investigatory proceedings initiated by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice. In much of his work, he draws on his background as an investment banking analyst.
Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, Joshua served as a law clerk to the Honorable Diane Gujarati of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He previously practiced as a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and during law school served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Paul L. Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Joshua worked in corporate and investment banking at Citigroup and Sixpoint Partners, where he advised private equity firms and other clients on M&A transactions, leveraged and corporate finance, and other matters.
