Brian Hettish

Brian Hettish’s practice primarily focuses on insurance defense, commercial litigation, and tort litigation.

Brian grew up in McKinney, Texas. While attending the University of North Texas, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve. After graduating from UNT, he deployed to Iraq for a year to improve tactical and strategic communications infrastructure. After returning home, he began attending law school at SMU. While in law school, Brian worked for a large financial services firm in Fort Worth and learned a great deal while working with in-house counsel on a variety of issues. After graduating from law school, Brian worked for a plaintiff’s firm, where he gained significant experience in litigation and personal injury defense. His experience and knowledge allow him to bring insights that best serve his clients.

In his free time, Brian enjoys exercising, the outdoors, hunting, playing the piano, watching sports, and walking his dog, Athena.
