Overview

Understanding what matters most to her clients is where Amanda Aubrey begins. By taking the time to understand each client’s priorities, Amanda develops thoughtful litigation strategies that address both the legal and practical realities they face.

Amanda’s practice focuses on civil defense and commercial litigation. She represents businesses, insurers, and individuals in matters involving construction disputes, insurance coverage and defense, premises liability, product liability, and other tort-related claims. Amanda approaches every case with careful preparation and strategic focus, recognizing that each matter presents unique legal and business considerations.

Before entering private practice, Amanda served as a prosecutor in Travis County, where she managed complex litigation and gained extensive courtroom experience. That background strengthened her ability to evaluate evidence, build persuasive arguments, and advocate effectively—skills she now brings to her civil litigation practice.

Amanda represents clients in state and federal courts throughout Texas and has experience handling matters at every stage of litigation, from early case evaluation and motion practice through trial preparation and resolution. While she is a capable courtroom advocate, Amanda also works closely with clients to identify opportunities for efficient resolution through negotiation, mediation, or other strategic alternatives when appropriate.

Clients value Amanda’s ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance. She prioritizes clear communication and strong client relationships, ensuring those she represents remain informed and confident throughout the litigation process.

Outside of her practice, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Austin area, and reading—particularly mystery and Southern Gothic fiction. She is also a devoted fan of women’s sports and follows competitions across nearly every league and level.
